Prerequisites

Actifsource is realized as an Eclipse Plugin and requires Eclipse to be installed

Start by downloading Eclipse from http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/

Follow the Eclipse installation instructions.

Install Actifsource - Step by Step

The following instruction explains how to install actifsource within eclipse. If you already know how the eclipse update site manager works, just enter the URL of this update site and start the installation.

Start Eclipse with full access rights to the eclipse installation directory

When running eclipse on windows and installing it under C:\Program Files, you need to right click on the eclipse.exe and select Run As Administrator. Due to the Windows UAC this is required even if you are already logged in as an administrator.

From the menu Help select Install New Software...

Click Add...

Enter Name: actifsource

Enter Location: http://updates.actifsource.com/updates or the url of this website

Click OK

Select actifsource

Make sure the checkbox Contact all update sites during install to find required software is checked

Click Next

There may be additional features on the update site, just select the actifsource category,
the others feature will be selected automatically when required.

Click Next

Carefully read the license agreement

If you agree, select I accept the terms of the license agreement

Click Finish

Click Yes to restart Eclipse

From the menu Window in the submenu Open Perspective select Other...

Select the actifsource perspective

Click OK
